KEY CRITERIA

In our policy document we have set out a list of the key criteria the Trustees contemplate when considering whether to make a donation.

1

OBJECTIVES

The SFCF aims to support charitable projects in a manner that serves to contribute at any early stage and generate additional support from other donors to assist in its further development

2

TIMELINE

Grants may be provided on a one-off basis or over a period of time. In order to give as many projects as possible the opportunity of support, the sponsorship period is generally limited to 3 - 5 years or until such time as the initiative has grown to a sufficient awareness to engage other sponsors and supporters.

3

FORM OF DONATION

Applicants should clearly set out the nature of their request e.g. whether a grant is sought in respect of an event, student scholarships, a long-term or one-off project.

4

CATEGORICAL FIT

Preference is given to initiatives which support our key projects areas and operate broadly within the same global spheres as the Stonehage Fleming Group.
